Do I need academic credentials to work
on Institute Projects?
No. Academic credentials show that one
has completed a formal educational process, and has completed
scholarly work in the field in the past, making them a very good
indicator that one is prepared to engage in academic work. They are,
however, not a guarantee of quality scholarly work, nor the only
preparation for such work. In the areas of interest to the Institute
academic preparation has not been previously available, or has been
available in a very limited or oblique way, and some are
disappearing. As it is scholarly work that meets academic standards
that is the focus, it is through that work that one can become
recognized as a Fellow of the Institute.
How do I start working on Projects?
The first step is to become a member of
the Gnosis Institute Community. There are different levels of
membership available, and there is a substantial scholarship
available for membership in cases where the cost is a barrier. This
will give you a user name and password that you can use to log on to
the site and access Forums and other user areas.
